Do we really need another indemnity law for the Freedom Fighters?
A strange news item appeared a few days ago. According to Amader Shomoy (30 May 2010), the Parliamentary Committee on Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has taken the initiative to pass a new law that will aim at indemnifying the Freedom Fighters of 1971 of all possible criminal acts that were unavoidable in the context of executing operations during the Liberation War.
